PTV MobilityPlatform
The PTV MobilityPlatform is a modular and open component-based application framework. Today, MobilityPlatform is deployed for service providers such as car manufactures, wireless carriers and telematics service providers as well as mobility portals.
The platform can be accessed at PTV’s hosting centre using the standard Web Service interface via an XML-based SOAP protocol, or an AJAX interface via JavaScript, to create:
- Traffic information portals
- Connected navigation services
- Branch locators
- City map services
- Tracking & Tracing
Several convenient methods are available for mapping, routing, geocoding, traffic information and custom-specified POI administration.
