Quality Assurance
Quality assurance with regard to traffic and transportation means to focus on measures that ensure a high level of data quality. PTV's TrafficCountManagement solution enables users to automatically check data plausibility when importing data into the traffic data management software system. Preliminary quality levels are allocated to the individual data records. Users can thus easily identify plausible and implausible values and missing data. PTV's traffic count data management system provides substitute values in order to correct or complement implausible or incomplete count data. The system calculates these values on the basis of existing, similar time graphs.
