Research and Development

Major efforts are needed today to create a future mobility that protects our livelyhood. For many years PTV has been participating from different disciplines, engineers and software developers, in national and international research projects. Interdisciplinary teams develop concepts, strategies and models for sustainaible mobility.

The results of this research are incorporated into the ongoing development of our products and consulting services. Our customers are also our research partners: their questions and problems provide a powerful stimulus for our research and development activities.
Demographic change, civil security, environment-friendly logistics and climate change are at the same on our agenda as e-Mobility and the substance preservation of our infrastructure as backbone of the economy. PTV owns expertise in both traffic and logistic issues and can thus integrate these issues.  Our research and development activities as well as our tailor-made solutions for customers are therefore shaped as "Concepts & Solutions."
