Therefore, we must learn how to use these resources more effectively and to take care of our environment so that future generations can enjoy our planet just like we had the chance to and can shape their own life.

PTV investigates how it would be possible to reduce traffic volumes or to make traffic more eco-friendly. For that purpose, we develop and provide innovative software solutions. In the business field Logistics Software, for instance, we offer map&guide, our route planning software that allows you to calculate emissions. Advanced traffic management helps us to avoid traffic jams and to improve traffic flow across an existing road network. Our transportation planning software PTV Vision is specifically designed to analyse the impact of settlement development and infrastructure measures on traffic and to improve public transport. PTV thus makes a significant contribution to ecological sustainability.

Thomas Haupt: Ecological and economic objectives are of course compatible.
