Harald Holberg

Date of birth: 22nd November 1968

Education: After passing his baccalauréat (equivalent to A-levels) in Paris, Harald Holberg studied Business Administration and Engineering at the Munich University of Applied Sciences. In Autumn 1993 he graduated from Munich University of Applied Sciences. He had his thesis on process cost accounting.

Professional experience: From 1994 to 2000 Harald Holberg was involved in administration and finance at Lafarge Zement GmbH, a subsidiary of the French building material manufacturer Lafarge S.A. As the head of finance & controlling he was responsible for the financial management of two cement plants. Apart from monthly reporting and corporate enterprise reporting according to the IAS (International Accounting Standard) he was mainly involved in international projects, such as the introduction of new accounting and controlling systems.

He became director of finance at Wössinger Zement GmbH and was also responsible for accounting, human resources, EDP and central administration.

In 2000 he joined Microlog Logistics AG, the leading provider of high-end contract logistics services. As a group controller he was responsible for finance & controlling of the entire corporation. In June 2000 Microlog went public (emission volume: EUR 48m). Developing efficient and flexible holding structures to cope with the strong corporate growth as well as the numerous acquisitions in Europe were among the major challenges. Moreover, he had to take care of the analysts and investors.

In April 2002 Harald Holberg joined PTV AG as head of finance (power of attorney). He has been concentrating on corporate accounting & reporting and has continuously improved corporate controlling processes. Another aspect, which plays an increasingly important role, is shareholding structuring and financing within the PTV group as well as acquisitions.

Harald Holberg has been a member of the Board of Directors of PTV Planung Transport Verkehr AG since October1, 2005.

Since July 1, 2011 he has been head of Finance, Controlling, IT and HR.
